Join us in the warmth of the Milk & Honey taproom, where you will learn about common grafting techniques and get an opportunity to graft a tree to take home. Methods taught include bench grafting, whip-and-tongue, and in-season chip budding. Participants can choose from several unique heirloom apple varieties and uncommon cider varieties proved for central Minnesota's climate and soil. Both dwarf and semi-dwarf rootstocks will be provided.
$30 admission includes grafting presentation, instruction, one grafted bare root apple tree to take home, materials to transport your tree(s), and a glass of Milk & Honey Cider. Additional trees can be grafted for $10 each.
